Scope of Work

  • Surge Analysis and Stress Analysis of Underground and Above-Ground Fire Water System Piping Network – Stimulation and Analysis

Project Summary

Conserve provided comprehensive surge and stress analysis services for the underground and above-ground fire water piping network as part of the Firewater Rejuvenation. This project, executed under safety enhancement program, focuses on upgrading and modernizing existing fire protection infrastructure to ensure long-term reliability and operational safety.

Our scope included detailed surge analysis to evaluate hydraulic transients during key operational scenarios such as pump startup and pump trip, ensuring system stability and protection against pressure fluctuations. In parallel, Conserve conducted stress analysis for the modified buried network system in full compliance with PTS 12.35.01 and ASME B31.3 standards, covering hydrostatic, sustained, and thermal stress conditions.

Through advanced modeling, simulation, and code-compliant engineering practices, Conserve ensured the integrity, safety, and performance of the fire water network, supporting to maintaining robust and reliable industrial safety systems.
